  • Estimator
    As an Estimator at United Grading & Excavating, you play a key role in the success of our projects by accurately assessing the costs and resources required for grading, excavation, and site development work. Your responsibilities include analyzing project plans, specifications, and proposals, preparing detailed cost estimates, and identifying potential risks and opportunities. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in estimating software, and knowledge of grading and excavation processes are essential. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, planning, and contributing to the growth of a reliable construction company.
  • Laborer
    As a Laborer at United Grading & Excavating, you play a crucial role in supporting our job sites and ensuring projects stay on schedule. Your responsibilities include performing general site clean-up, shoveling, raking, and assisting with the preparation of areas for grading and excavation. You will work closely with operators and foremen to carry out tasks such as moving materials, maintaining equipment, and following safety procedures. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow in the construction industry.
  • Operator
    Operators at United Grading & Excavating are skilled professionals responsible for operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, motor graders, and loaders. You’ll handle tasks like grading surfaces, excavating earth, and ensuring projects are completed to specification. Precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of safety protocols are key to this role. Ideal candidates have experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment and are committed to maintaining equipment and keeping job sites productive and safe.
  • Foreman
    The Foreman at United Grading & Excavating leads and supervises daily operations on the job site, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely.     The Superintendent at United Grading & Excavating oversees the entire scope of grading and excavation projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for planning work schedules, managing multiple crews, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and in-depth knowledge of grading and excavation processes. Superintendents ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule while delivering the high level of quality our clients expect.
